Our goal at Clocks In Action (CIA) is to give your timepiece the care it deserves. Whether it was handed down from generation to generation or part of your personal collection you have acquired, it deserves the care only we can give. We are here for you not the other way around. From the time we receive your timepiece we will keep in continual contact with you. Nothing is done without your approval. When your clock arrives , the movement will be inspected for first look problems before complete disassembly.Then the movement will be taken completely apart. The complete movement will be all cleaned by our ultrasonic cleaner. All winding springs will be checked for breaks and cracks. Wheels will be checked for bent or broken teeth. The arbors and pivots will be checked and straightened if needed. All levers checked and adjusted if needed. If any parts are required, you will be contacted and advised of extra cost. The biggest take away for you is no surprises. We are here for you. We never take longer than necessary and we don't take short cuts to save time. There is a fine line between "Fast Service" and a job well done. We try our best to get the job done in a reasonable time frame. Parts availability is a factor.

Custom Manufacturing

If parts for your clock are not available we do out best to hand craft what ever part is needed. We have many materials on hand that we work with.

Clock History

We do provide detailed information about your clocks origins and date of manufacture. Also we provide an appraised value for your clock.
